Cuisine
What was I designing for?
Elevate your dining experience.
This is a project that took the concept of fine dining to entirely new heights…literally!
The brief was to create a website for an immersive experience and allow users to book it seamlessly across web & mobile
The task was to design a website for both web and mobile platforms, offering a unique and thrilling experience - dining in a hot air balloon hundreds of feed in the air.
The website not only facilitates bookings for this extraordinary adventure, but also communicate the experience clearly and
give users the option to create an E-gift card for others.

Ideation and Problem Framing: The journey started with the ideation process, using Miro boards to explore research methodologies, map out user flows and build site maps that gave the project a clear structural backbone before a single screen was designed.
I conducted competitor analysis, exploring comparable web design with similar goals revealed what worked and what didn't.
The Conclusion: Incorporating sharp edges, bold shapes and vibrant colours would
make the experience feel as thrilling as the event itself.
RESEARCH
WIREFRAMING &
PROTOTYPING
From a solid research base, I moved onto creating wireframes, experimenting with different layouts in a sandbox environment. Working from low to mid-fidelity gave me space to visualise element placement and plan the UI before committing to a direction.
This stage also involved testing colours, fonts and text styles, giving a preview of how the final website would feel before a single high fidelity screen was built.
High-fidelity wireframes were built for both platforms. Designing across web and mobile presented real challenges, scaling down information for mobile without losing clarity required every element to earn it's place.
User testing at each stage meant the design was continuously refined based on real feedback, prioritising user needs and goals over design assumptions.
